About Me

Born in San Francisco and raised in San Carlos, Paul Inouye is one of three siblings. Nowadays, he is staying in Portola Valley, California. His educational path led him through Bellarmine College Prep in San Jose, followed by UC Berkeley for undergraduate studies. He furthered his education at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he completed his MBA.

His interests are wide-ranging, encompassing activities such as cycling, running, swimming, and CrossFit. He is also passionate about traveling and skiing and enjoys diverse music from the 80s and EDM. His love for 80s movies, reading, military history, and fantasy football further reflects his eclectic tastes. Athletic pursuits have been a significant part of his life, including playing rugby in high school and college. He has completed several challenging endurance events, such as The Vineman Ironman, the Vineman Half Ironman, the Hawaiian Half Ironman, and marathons in San Francisco, Avenue of the Giants, and Portola Valley, California.

His former professional career spanned over 30 years in West Coast technology banking. He possessed a wealth of expertise, including a deep understanding of strategic and financial aspects, honed negotiating skills, and extensive knowledge of the M&A process. His focus was on M&A transactions in the software and internet tech sectors.

His career included tenures at renowned firms like Robertson Stephens, Morgan Stanley, Piper Jaffray, Lehman Brothers, Perella Weinberg, and Moelis & Company. He is a father to two children, Miles and Sutton.
