Paul Inouye Moelis & Company Announces the Appointment of Paul Inouye as a Managing Director Providing Strategic Advice to Technology Clients

Moelis & Company, the global independent investment bank, today announced the appointment of Paul Inouye as a Managing Director responsible for providing strategic advice to clients in the technology industry specializing in the Internet/digital media sector.

Mr. Paul Inouye will be working alongside Kevin Scheetz, a Managing Director who provides strategic advice to technology companies, in the Firm’s new offices in University Circle, Palo Alto.

With more than 22 years of investment banking experience in Silicon Valley, Mr. Paul Inouye joins Moelis & Company from Perella Weinberg Partners where he worked with technology clients. Before joining Perella, he was a Managing Director and Head of Lehman Brothers Internet Banking Group. During his career, he has worked at Morgan Stanley, Piper Jaffray and Robertson Stephens in Silicon Valley.

The Moelis technology team has recently announced a number of transactions including placement agent on a $168 million equity raise for Lighting Science Group Corporation, advisor to Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation on its acquisition of Centerstance, financial advisor to Solarsoft on its sale to Epicor Software Corporation, and advisor to CDC Software on the sale of its publicly-traded subsidiary, CDC Software, to Vista Equity for $300 million.
